Over 50 groups took part in End Hunger Week 2019, by challenging the government to ACT NOW TO END UK HUNGER. People took photos in front of castles and community centres, around statues and in schools.
These photos flooded Twitter and Facebook, and were featured in local papers around the country. Folk spoke on the radio, made videos and gave interviews to the press. Together we got the message out loud and clear that action must be taken to end food poverty in the UK, and Government must set out a strategy to how this will be achieved.
